Description:

Our Renewables team in Düsseldorf is looking for you!

Responsibilities:

  • Construction Management: Oversee all construction activities, including site preparation, foundation installation, module mounting, electrical installation, and commissioning, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards
  • Contractor Coordination: Manage relationships with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors, including procurement, contract negotiation, performance evaluation, and resolution of disputes, to ensure timely and cost-effective project execution
  • Site Management: Establish and maintain safe and efficient worksite operations, including site layout, logistics, material handling, and site security, to facilitate smooth construction progress and minimize disruptions
  • Schedule Management: Develop and maintain construction schedules, identifying work packages, defining milestones, and managing dependencies to ensure on-time project delivery while integrating with our work package management approach
  • Budget Management: Prepare and manage construction budgets, track expenses, forecast costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement cost control measures to optimize project profitability
  • Quality Control: Implement quality assurance and quality control processes, conduct inspections, and address non-conformities promptly to ensure that construction activities meet the highest quality standards and specifications
  • Health and Safety: Promote and enforce a culture of safety on construction sites, implement safety protocols and procedures, conduct safety audits, and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations to prevent accidents and injuries
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and hazards associated with construction activities, develop risk mitigation strategies, and implement measures to minimize project risks and liabilities
  • Team Leadership: Provide strong leadership and direction to the construction team, including project managers, site supervisors, engineers, and support staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work culture
  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate regularly with project stakeholders, including internal teams, clients, regulatory authorities, and community stakeholders, providing updates on construction progress, addressing concerns, and resolving issues in a timely manner
  • Digitalization and Data Management: Drive digitalization initiatives within the construction process, leveraging digital tools and technologies to enhance efficiency, transparency, and collaboration. Ensure effective data management practices are in place to capture, analyze, and utilize construction-related data for informed decision-making and continuous improvement
