You will lead and develop the contract logistics division, ensuring strategic growth, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Your role will involve managing complex logistics solutions, driving profitability, and fostering innovation within the organization. This position requires a leader who can align logistics operations with the company’s overarching objectives, optimize supply chain performance, and exceed customer expectations.

Leadership & Strategy:

• Define and execute the strategic direction for contract logistics, ensuring alignment with Organization’s Regional and Global goals.
• Lead the development and execution of new business initiatives and expansion plans.
• Oversee the budgeting, financial performance, and profitability of the contract logistics business.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence in logistics operations.

Operational Excellence:

• Manage and oversee all contract logistics operations to ensure high levels of productivity and service.
• Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational success and drive improvement.
• Ensure the smooth operation of warehousing, transportation, and distribution activities within the logistics division.
• Optimize the use of technology and automation to enhance logistics processes.

Customer Relationship Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, ensuring high satisfaction levels and long-term partnerships.
• Understand and respond to customer needs, creating tailored logistics solutions that provide value and flexibility.
• Lead contract negotiations and ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and regulatory requirements.

Team Management & Development:

• Lead and mentor a diverse team of logistics professionals, fostering a collaborative and performance-driven culture.
• Develop talent within the team, ensuring robust succession planning and employee development.
• Drive a commitment to health and safety standards across all logistics operations.

Financial Management:

• Monitor and manage financial performance, ensuring revenue targets are met and costs are controlled.
• Oversee pricing strategies, contract terms, and service offerings to ensure profitability.
• Report on the financial health of the contract logistics division to senior leadership.
