A mature analytics capability, the Global Analytics Center (GAC), is a hub of advanced analytics competency, providing high-end analytics services across global businesses and global functions. Set-up in India in 2004, GAC has matured into a shared Centre of Excellence comprising 2000+ professionals with offices in Bangalore, Kolkata, Vizag, Guangzhou, Krakow and Mexico City. The work done in GAC forms a vital input towards for strategic planning by the senior management for businesses and enables effective decision making along with addressing unforeseen challenges.
The individual filling this role (Data Requirements and Analysis) will be responsible for leading our GAC Mexico, supporting Data & Analytics local market teams in US, Mexico and other markets as the team scope and remit evolves. This will include local management of the senior members of the functional teams (Business Intelligence & Analysis, Data Science, Data Management and Campaign Management), project management, and overall resource alignment with business priorities. This individual will work very closely with the Data & Analytics market leads in the US and Mexico to support the business needs of these markets and will functionally report into the US D&A leadership.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills, both verbal & written.
- Full fluency and proficiency in English as well as Spanish.
- Excellent quantitative & analytical skills, including customer segmentation, statistical modeling, database marketing and portfolio
- management, plus knowledge of analytical methodologies for optimizing and evaluating analytic solutions.
- Proven problem solving, planning, project management and decision-making skills,
- Proven ability to analyze data, develop insights and recommend business strategy changes with associated financial benefits.
- Strong team player and ability to support & supervise less experienced analysts both locally and offshore.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple analytical projects, develop project plans and communicate with Senior Management & Stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge and experience in SAS is preferred
- Financial Industry experience preferred
Requirements
- Minimum of five years’ experience managing both people and projects, preferably in a multi-matrixed environment.
- Proven and progressive analytic experience or equivalent, preferred in Customer, Product, Marketing, Digital Channel or Risk analytics.
- Master’s degree preferred / Bachelor’s degree required in business, statistics, economics, finance, information systems or operation research field.
- Experience working in Cloud environment preferred, plus experience working with Campaign Management & CRM Real Time Decision Engine industry solutions.
