Responsibilities:

OBJECTIVE OF THE ROLE:

The Head of Delivery reports to the CEO with responsibility for overseeing software development teams and the program office within the company. This individual will drive the execution of AI projects from conception through delivery, ensuring that timelines, quality standards, and business goals are met.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leadership & Strategy:
  • Responsible for a team of automation engineers, business analysts, and the program management office, providing guidance and mentorship to team leaders and the whole team.
  • Develop and execute the overall development roadmap in alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.
  • Serve as the key point of contact between the development teams and the executive team, ensuring clear communication and alignment on priorities.
  • Program Management:
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and tracking of customer programs, ensuring on-time and high-quality delivery.
  • Implement best practices for project management, resource allocation, and risk management across teams.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, innovation, and team collaboration.
  • Collaboration & Communication:
  • Serve as a key authority with senior external stakeholders, managing relationships while defining technical requirements and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Act as the liaison between the development teams, sales and customer enablement teams, ensuring the CEO is informed of progress, risks, and strategic opportunities.
  • Promote an agile, adaptive culture that encourages rapid iteration and innovation.
  • Budget & Resource Management:
  • Manage program budgets, ensuring projects are delivered within financial and resource constraints.
  • Assess and allocate resources effectively, identifying gaps and opportunities for optimisation.
