HEAD OF DIGITAL

We are looking for the right person to lead the digital team in RSA/123.ie. Digital is core to our business, and this is an exciting role that will drive the digital transformation of one of the leading insurance brands in Ireland.
As the Head of Digital, you will be responsible for defining and implementing our digital strategy and you will be accountable for developing a best-in-class digital customer experience.
Reporting to the MD of 123.ie, you will be part of a senior leadership team, working with stakeholders across the wider RSA organisation to deliver real business change. You be passionate about delivering amazing customer experience based on data insight and also an excellent communicator and people leader. You will have extensive experience in digital transformation and a proven track record in delivering strategic change programmes.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Qualification in business, technology, marketing, or any related field
  • Extensive experience (9yrs+) in leading digital teams and/or delivering large strategic change programmed
  • This role is based in Dublin however there will be a requirement to travel between the offices across the RSA Ireland business and some travel to the wider RSA Group offices

Responsibilities:

  • Providing strategic business leadership - definition and implementation of our digital strategy for 123.ie
  • Leading Digital Innovation and cultural adoption by working with teams across the business to generate innovative digital solutions for products, services, processes, customer experiences, marketing channels, and business models.
  • Ownership of the digital programme of work, liaising with key stakeholders to define, evaluate, prioritise and deliver the digital portfolio
  • Building strong relationships across the organisation including Technology, Data and Analytics, Underwriting, Finance, Regulatory, Compliance and Operations.
  • Leading in Agile ways of working, delivering against business priorities and constantly seeking efficiencies. Be an advocate for digital, influencing the organisation in the area of digital transformation and business change.
  • Leading a Digital Team in the areas of UX, journey design, analytics, product ownership and co-ordinating cross-functional teams to deliver digital products and services
  • Leading resource planning, management, reporting and coordination of digital initiatives to deliver change in line with availability and business requirements
  • Working with the IT, Operations, Marketing and Sales teams to coordinate requests for estimation and resourcing for projects which are linked to or impact the digital strategy.
  • Leading and managing the annual digital team’s budget and delivery roadmap with the ability to articulate and quantify the strategic value of the portfolio
  • Leading and managing relationships with 3rd Party partner agencies ensuring 123.ie are delivering best in class Digital CX design.
  • Working with the IT and data analyst teams to regularly monitor and review site performance against agreed KPI’s.
  • Engaging with and reporting to key stakeholders, including the Executive Team in RSA and 123.ie on Digital strategy implementation to harness their support in its delivery
  • Developing digital talent by working closely with HR to attract and retain top talent, and to build digital capabilities across the company
  • Build relationships and leverage capabilities and learnings across the Intact/RSA Group.
