ABOUT THE JOB:
FASHION Magazine is Canada’s leading destination for style, beauty, and luxury. Our brand connects with a discerning audience through our print magazine, website, social media, and events. We are looking for a Head of Digital & Social to join our Toronto-based team of writers, editors, social producers, and data experts.
Working closely with the EIC and reporting to the Vice President, Content, you’ll oversee our digital and social media strategy and manage and create content for our website, social video and newsletter while driving measurable audience growth.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in social media management, content production, or digital marketing, preferably in media or entertainment.
- Proven experience creating and editing video content for social platforms, particularly TikTok and Instagram Reels.
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices, along with analytics and publishing tools.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
- Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Photoshop).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- In-depth knowledge and passion for fashion, beauty, and pop culture.
- Familiarity with content management systems and newsletter platforms (e.g., Sailthru, Campaign Monitor).
- Excellent communication, time management, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
