Your role
We are looking for a dynamic and forward-thinking Head of Digital Workplace (m/f/d) to define Symrise’s global IT workplace strategy and oversee operations, ensuring alignment with relevant business stakeholders and the company’s digitalization goals. This includes both end user devices as well as technology that is closely related to the future workplace, such as office printing, software distribution and policy management as well as centrally managed services like filesharing platforms, Teams and M365.
This highly visible leadership role will be critical to improving efficiency and user experience across the Symrise Group by ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption during the further enhancements with state-of-the-art solutions within a global IT ecosystem.
- Define a comprehensive global strategy to ensure the design and deployment of digital workplace solutions, while maintaining a secure environment
- Ensure compliance with operational processes and routines and provide timely reports on the status and performance of incidents, events, problems, and complaints
- Document standard operating procedures and participate in service reviews of defined Service Level Agreements
- Monitor the performance of our service providers and collaborate to manage incidents, problems, changes and requests within your area of responsibility
- Contribute to the definition and implementation of test procedures and continuity plans to identify improvement measures for operational business
