What We Offer
As the Head of EMEA Index Licensing, you will help grow the Nasdaq Index business across EMEA by working with investment product issuers to bring new innovative ETFs and funds to market tracking Nasdaq indexes. Your focus will be on working with asset managers throughout EMEA to support new product development efforts by licensing existing and newly developed Nasdaq Index concepts. You will help lead the strategic direction for how Nasdaq grows its index business revenue in EMEA, working in partnership with the New Product Development Team to prioritize and execute on new investment product initiatives along with Nasdaq’s Marketing, Research, and Investor Distribution teams to help define Nasdaq’s strategy for supporting investor flows.
You will identify new investment product ideas that will resonate in the region while being a strategic fit for both Nasdaq and its clients.

What You Will Do

  • Manage existing relationships with current Nasdaq Index licensees in an effort to maintain existing business and generate new product opportunities
  • Develop new relationships for Nasdaq’s Index Licensing business with EMEA based investment product issuers and close new opportunities for launch of new investment products
  • Manage Nasdaq’s EMEA focused index licensing sales team which currently consists of one sales team member covering the Nordic region and strategically add head count over time to support growth
  • Attend and support all regional industry conference activities
  • Speak on behalf of the Nasdaq Index business at client events and with media on industry trends and index strategies we license in the region
  • Collaborate in partnership with the Global Head of Investor Distribution along with Nasdaq’s Index Research and Marketing teams to guide deployment of Nasdaq resources that will help facilitate flows into partnered investment products tracking Nasdaq indexes
  • Support the full range of Nasdaq’s existing index business relationship with the EMEA client base in partnership with the Head of Index Client Experience on aspects ranging from operational support to the revamp of existing index methodologies

What We Expect

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field
  • At least 10 years of experience in the EMEA ETF and fund ecosystem
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to work autonomously as a self-starter
  • Experience building and maintaining strategic relationships
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
