Job Description

YOUR CONTRIBUTION TO SOMETHING BIG:

Main Mission: Cross-Functional Site Manager for Bosch in Ovar
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager to lead our multidisciplinary location in Ovar. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a conducive environment for the growth and success of our about 200 associates in engineering teams from different business units in Bosch as well as associates from purchasing, quality and sales. The Site-Manager will also be the host of the location and will be responsible for maintaining strong collaboration with the local plant and will report disciplinary and functionally to Bosch Service Solutions’ Country Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage multidisciplinary teams of about 200 associates in engineering, digital services development, controlling, purchasing, quality and sales
  • Act as the host of the location and ensure a welcoming and professional environment for all associates
  • Maintain strong collaboration with the local plant and other relevant stakeholders
  • Forster contact to local plant to leverage synergies in testing and industrialization
  • Provide a supportive and growth-oriented environment for the teams
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive the success and growth of the location
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation within the location and also support close collaboration from other locations (e.g. for teams staffed across-locations)
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulations
  • Provide leadership and guidance to functional team leaders, promoting a positive and inclusive work culture
  • Manage the location’s budget and resources effectively
  • Innovation funded projects submission and management
  • Representing Bosch Building Technologies in Portugal in collaboration with other locations and local authorities
  • Representation of engineering services in the context of the Bosch Service Solutions’ management team: KPIs, reports, P&L, etc. and also promote collaboration and teamwork
  • Actively promote the growth and expansion of the engineering, industrial and R&D services portfolio within Bosch Service Solutions Portugal
