The Head of Enterprise Change is a newly created role within CityLab, offering a unique opportunity to lead enterprise-wide transformation initiatives. You will work closely with the Director of CityLab and key stakeholders across the organisation, taking both a strategic and hands-on approach to successfully deliver change initiatives.
At CityLab, we embrace a fresh perspective on change management, with a strong emphasis on human-centred change. Our focus is on ensuring that people are at the heart of every transformation process, fostering positive outcomes for both the organisation and its employees.
This pivotal role involves leading a dedicated team of four professionals to execute large-scale change initiatives across the organisation. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, driving alignment and ensuring initiatives are well supported. As the Head of Enterprise Change, you will provide visionary leadership and direction to your team, helping to shape the future of change management at the City of Melbourne.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Monitor and analyse change initiatives, providing leadership with data-driven insights to inform decisions on workload, timing, and resourcing.
  • Provide strategic change advice to business owners and sponsors, supporting the adoption of changes, aligning vision, and integrating change management into project plans.
  • Define success metrics, monitor progress across initiatives, and report regularly on delivery, tracking overall change maturity.
  • Provide leadership and support to executive sponsors and senior leaders, helping them act as effective change advocates.
  • Partner with internal communications to ensure consistent change messaging and develop a unified approach to governance and delivery.
  • Drive business flexibility and employee engagement by developing change competency in leaders and staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
