YOUR SKILLS

  • Master’s degree in Data Science, IT, Computer Science, Mathematics or relatedfield
  • 10 years of substantial experience in running complex Digitalization projects, ability to manage ambiguity and balance short- and long-term benefits; project experience with focus environmental data management and understanding of ESG reporting requirements (e.g. CSRD) is a plus
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful data strategies and building up data architecture in a global environment
  • Knowledge of data management, data governance and data architecture standards
  • Demonstrated ability to build up, lead, inspire and empower individuals or teams to achieve common goals
  • Good communication skills at all levels and ability to structure and explain complexity in an accessible way
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and demonstrated resilience in handling high-pressure situations and adapting to rapidly changing environments
  • A strong multi-tasker-capable of planning, organizing details while communicating effectively on all levels within the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate and influence within a multi-matrix organizational structure, effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive initiatives forward
  • Business Proficiency in English, German is a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Define priorities for a shared roadmap to advance Environmental data digitalization, reflecting stakeholder and business needs, together with Dx (IT), the ESG data and reporting teams
  • Guide the Environmental Data Digitalization team in its role as connector between ESG data methods, accounting needs and Dx (IT), work to jointly set a Masterplan for project implementation to effectively coordinate projects and priorities, balancing resource efficiency, speed and business benefit
  • Develop overall mapping and visualization of technical IT landscape, define and map new data fields and specific data formats and identify connection points across ESG and business data sources
  • Ensure IT data landscape can deliver environmental data needs, identify gaps and provide recommendations - aligned with ESG strategy, reporting obligations, ambitions and goals
  • Foster strong relationships with wider Data Governance Systems and Dx (IT) to ensure seamless integration of Environmental data needs in digitalization and Business Data Management reflecting needs of data accounting and reporting teams
  • Closely and regularly align mid- to long-term resourcing and development needs for ESG data digitization with key partners in Dx and business to evolve shared ways of working to ensure smooth collaboration and clear roles & responsibilities
  • Contribute to regular alignment between Dx (IT) and connected Environmental data teams (e.g. in Infrastructure and Purchasing) to ensure processes and tools complement each other
  • Work in gremia and engage in advocacy efforts to drive ESG initiatives with internal and external stakeholders
  • Work on ad-hoc projects and duties as required by management
  • Proactively enhance team capabilities through targeted employee development initiatives, fostering a culture of continuous growth, skill advancement and cultivate a collaborative environment within the team and also drive cross-functional collaboration
