Description:
Responsibilities:
ROLE
To be accountable for Avrenim Facilities Management & Avrenim Protect function with an aim to continuously improve the business in line with the overall Business Plan.
They are responsible for all Operational, Financial, H&S and Engineering performance associated with a large single contract or group of contracts within a designated area. In addition the role should support the Project function of the operation including assisting with projects and pricing, especially when involving lifecycle works.
To embed and deliver the philosophy of Performance, Improvement and Management to all employees and stakeholders of Avrenim. To ensure the delivery of engineering and passive fire activity reactive, planned and other. Ensuring Avrenim deliver a continually improving, customer focused, cost effective, efficient and compliant service in order to meet its contractual and legal obligations.
To be accountable for technical compliance and technical operations which could have significant, systemic positive or negative impact to Avrenim or Clients. The operations or activities overseen are for complex or critical infrastructure.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Operational Management:
To ensure that the defined contract and/or customer accounts effectively:
- Manages the recruitment, organisation, performance, and training and development of all staff employed within their control
- To ensure that the engineering and passive fire teams operate within Avrenim’s financial and budgetary controls.
- Champions performance improvement and customer service
- Support business development in identifying and securing suitable contracts
- Co-ordinate all activities within the contracts under their control, in order to maximise returns and ensure high standards of safety, quality and customer satisfaction
- Ensuring that Health, Safety and Sustainability is at the forefront of the operational delivery of the contracts
- Ensure the required capabilities are assembled and co-ordinated effectively.
- Management of all commercial and contractual issues through contract life.
- Management of Consistent, High Level links with senior Customer Interfaces
- Ensuring that Avrenim is visible and market leading within the area
- Positive Leadership & Contribution to the strategic direction, performance and growth of the business.
- Undertake any reasonable request made by the company or management.
Contract Delivery:
To ensure that all Operational teams successfully deliver to both Avrenim and the customer in line with the agreed time, cost, quality, design and safety measures, including undertaking regular site reviews and, where necessary, acting to identify and mitigate actual and/or potential problems (e.g. losses, safety/quality issues and customer complaints)
- The theoretical knowledge to solve problems in developed technologies using well proven analytical techniques
- Successful application of their knowledge to assist in delivering engineering projects or services using established technologies and methods
- Responsibility for engineering projects and financial planning and management together with some responsibility for leading and developing other professional staff

- To understand the Client, and Business requirements, and to support and deliver solutions to meet and exceed needs contributing to the satisfaction of customer objectives.
- To ensure compliance with all statutory engineering, HTM and relevant company and client policies are followed.
- To support and lead in the provision of technical support to business incidents and failures during business hours and outside business hours on-call as required.
- To develop maximum profitable growth of the business through understanding client needs, maximizing the services delivered and championing excellent customer care.
- To lead, recruit, develop and retain staff to deliver services in the most efficient and effective manner.
- Follow any reasonable management instruction.
