Open Fibre Networks (OFNL), part of the BUUK Group, are looking for Head of Fibre Network & Systems Development who would like to help us reach our mission to “earn customer loyalty and drive business growth by providing consistently excellent service”.
As the Head of Fibre Network & Systems Development your key responsibilities are
- Oversee the fibre development team in designing, implementing, testing and providing operational support for all technical solutions on the OFNL network
- Create detailed designs and documentation for infrastructure and operational services, leading design acceptance activities and managing 3rd party suppliers
- Provide technical input on future Data Access strategy, ensuring the designs meet requirements relating to Architecture, Legal/Regulatory, Data Protection & Security
- Provide input to fibre budgets detailing requirements over a 12-month period, ensuring costs are maintained within budget and authorise supplier invoices.
- Monitor process performance using a continuous improvement philosophy to drive efficiencies within the Fibre organisation.
