- Payroll experience
- Previous reporting experience within a group ownership structure (desirable)

Responsibilities:
- Leading and develop the finance department.
- Assist in preparing year-end financial statements and R&D claims, working closely with our accountants.
- Assist, finalise and communicate month end reporting, presenting a monthly overview at divisional level.
- Work closely with our senior leadership team to support and create strategic plans.
- Prepare weekly cash flow forecasts including 13-week projections.
- Create & implement new processes to improve and internalise activities, managing projects as required.
- Maintenance of financial systems & procedures to ensure compliance with good practice and financial regulation changes.
- Track, report & present on a range of KPI’s to the MD, highlighting any areas of concern.
- Monitor costs with management, review budget variances, using a collaborative approach to identify potential synergies and cost savings.
- Responsible for the in house running of payroll.
- Responsible for all HMRC submissions including VAT returns.
- Support and assist with financial planning and organisation as required, including budgeting and forecasting.
- Responsible for overseeing credit control, acting where required.
