Responsibilities:

  • Lead our finance strategy: Own and develop Nory’s financial strategy, from forecasting and budgeting to financial risk management, ensuring we have the insights needed for smart, sustainable growth.
  • Build and manage company-wide operations: Take charge of Nory’s operational processes, ensuring everything from data analytics to goal setting is efficient, scalable, and ready for the next phase of growth.
  • Own OKR and business planning: Lead company-wide OKR planning and financial intelligence, collaborating with the leadership team to set the strategy and goals that drive our success.
  • Lead financial modelling and analysis: Be the go-to expert for financial and data modelling to support strategic initiatives and key business decisions.
  • Fundraising and investor relations: Drive our fundraising strategy and build lasting relationships with partners and investors, ensuring we have the resources to scale.
  • Resource allocation and scalability: Develop strategies for scalable growth while ensuring cost efficiency and overseeing internal audit processes to maintain financial integrity.
  • Enable revenue operations: Ensure our sales, customer success, and marketing teams have the right tools and data they need to perform at their best, driving revenue growth.

The person who will thrive in this role will…

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (an MBA or advanced degree is a plus).
  • Have 5+ years of experience in a senior finance and operations role, preferably within a start-up environment.
  • Have a track record of driving operational efficiencies, scaling processes, and resource allocation.
  • Have experience with start-up finance, including managing Series A or B funding rounds.
  • Be confident in financial planning, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow management.
  • Have exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, thriving in cross-functional team environments.
  • Be a strong strategic thinker with outstanding problem-solving skills, always keeping the bigger picture in mind.
  • Communicate clearly and confidently, with the ability to present complex financial data in an understandable way.
