YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• 5+ years’ experience in a senior financial role.
• Degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or relevant field.
• Expertise in financial planning and analysis, financial operations, process improvement, and cost management.
• Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing finance teams.
• Strong data-driven decision-making and risk-management skills.
• Knowledge of Dutch GAAP financial regulations.
• Business Dutch proficiency strong plus
• Strong sense of ownership and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, scale-up environment.
• Bonus qualifications:
• Understanding hardware scaleup challenges is a plus
• Experience in E-Commerce or related industry
• CPA or AA/RA

YOUR ROLE

As the Head of Finance, you will play a critical role in the strategic direction and financial health of Naya & Arc. You will lead and be involved in all financial operations, including financial planning, analysis, and reporting, ensuring the companies’ financial stability and growth. Your key responsibilities will include managing financial risks, overseeing financial record-keeping, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with the founder team and external stakeholders like banks to drive the companies toward financial success and oversee a small team.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES ACROSS BOTH COMPANIES

• Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cashflow management and financial reporting
• Develop and execute financial strategies to support the company’s overall business objectives
• Growing and securing non-dilutive financing across both organizations via existing and new channels
• Manage relationships with banks, accountants, insurance companies, and other financial institutions
• Assist founders in managing investor relations
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
• Conduct financial analysis to provide insights and recommendations to the leadership team
• Monitor and manage financial risks
• Enhance financial performance through strategic initiatives and continuous improvement
• Develop and manage a small & capable financial team
