ANZ Worldline Payment Solutions is a joint venture between ANZ Banking Group and Europe’s leading payment technology company, Worldline.
We launched in Australia in early 2022, providing in-store and ecommerce payment solutions to around 52,000 Australian businesses. EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CA (Chartered Accountant).
  • Experience in a merchant acquiring business and knowledge of intermediation accounting and reconciliation is preferred
  • 5+ years direct experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

Leadership and Supervision

  • Lead and manage the accounting and tax teams.
  • Oversee end-of-period processes and support the analysis of business performance, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Develop and implement risk management procedures.

Financial Reporting and Compliance

  • Ensure accurate and timely intermediation accounting and reconciliation
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Maintain compliance with statutory regulations and internal policies.
  • Coordinate with external auditors during audits.

Tax Management

  • Oversee tax planning and strategy.
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Liaise with external tax advisors and regulatory organizations.

Policy Formation and Implementation

  • Develop and enhance financial policies and procedures.
  • Ensure consistency in procedures across the accounting department.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives.

Collaboration and Support

  • Work closely with senior management to support financial decision-making.
  • Collaborate with other finance departmental heads on complex financial modeling.
  • Mentor and develop accounting staff.
