  • Proven track record of working within a team to drive improved financial reporting and processe

Responsibilities:

The ITV Studios division has recently created a new and exciting London based opportunity for a Head of Finance, set to join the finance team on a permanent basis. Your purpose as senior finance business partner will be to provide all aspects of financial support for designated scripted labels within ITV Studios (including World Productions). You will provide strategic, commercial support for the scripted label management teams, providing effective financial reporting, planning and control, whilst managing day to day production needs.

Some of your key day-to-day responsibilities may include:

  • Business partnering with label leadership to facilitate understanding of commercial and financial impact of key programme/ editorial decisions
  • Working as a member of the senior leadership teams, supporting the label in delivering the ITV strategy
  • Managing all aspects of financial reporting and ensuring compliance with ITV financial policies and procedures
  • Performance management through the accurate presentation of financial forecasts and updates, provide early identification of risks and opportunities and potential solutions
  • Presentation of financial performance at regular board meetings
  • Preparation of finance/business plans for submission to label boards
  • Monthly reporting: including management accounts, regular forecasting of P&L balance sheet and cashflow
  • Management of the end to end process for HETVs
  • Management of location drama financial support including : management of bank accounts and funding, recruitment and supervision of freelance production accountants to ensure regular and accurate cost reporting across all productions
  • Work with production management to have a thorough understanding of the programme budget details
  • Leading on cost control initiatives to ensure effective use of resources
  • Monitor development effectiveness to ensure adequate ROI of development spend and programme conversion
  • Development of finance team in line with ITV’s finance operating model
  • Participate in project looking to improve and harmonise processes across all ITVS scripted labels
  • Leading integration into ITV financial reporting requirements and ways of working including any potential change in finance systems (Oracle Fusion,Talpay)
