Responsibilities:

The post will support the Group Finance Director in ensuring the department is adhering to strong and robust financial controls and towards the achievement of business objectives. Promote communication and efficient work practices across all areas of the finance function.

  • Lead multiple entity monthly forecast modelling and reporting
  • Ownership of the monthly internal site level reporting model
  • Produce management information packs for external stakeholders including lenders and JV partners
  • Support, and lead where necessary, in the preparation of the monthly management information packs for internal stakeholders
  • Prepare weekly MI and other monthly management reporting as directed
  • Work with the group finance director in the preparation of the annual budget, including consolidating regional files and preparing analysis workbooks and summary presentations
  • Support in the preparation of board reports and presentations as directed by the group finance director.
  • Support in aspects of financial reporting including delivering month end, prepare/ review of journals, reconciliations, and flash management accounts.
  • Lead on any fundamental changes to internal management reporting processes and financial models.
  • Lead on production of the going concern models across all entities
  • Develop and maintain necessary controls, policies and procedures to ensure an effective and efficient financial management environment within the department
  • Co-ordinate with the Group Financial Controller on any financial matters of importance to the group.
  • Management of FP&A Assistant Accountant.
  • Project work including enhancing the use of IT systems e.g. COINS reports for management
  • Support the finance director and other internal senior stakeholders on ad-hoc value-added tasks and analysis.
