We are one of the pioneers in Europe and collaborate with enterprises such as ASML, Atos, BASF, Capgemini, NTT Data, Merck and Telekom.

Tasks

• Define and Lead Frontend Strategy: You’ll shape our technical strategy, aligning it with the product roadmap by making key decisions on frameworks, tools, and methodologies to ensure scalable, future-proof solutions.
• Architect and Develop High-Quality Applications: Oversee the design and implementation of responsive, high-performance applications using React and Next.js, delivering seamless user experiences across devices.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: You’ll work closely with UX/UI designers, product managers, and backend engineers to ensure cohesive and synchronized product development from concept to deployment.
• Mentor and Guide Team Members: You’ll foster a culture of learning and excellence, guiding junior developers and reinforcing best practices in code quality, testing, and maintainability.
• Drive Innovation in Frontend Technologies: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, exploring and implementing advanced frontend technologies to enhance performance, accessibility, and security.
• Enhance Development Processes: Actively contribute to process improvements, ensuring agile, efficient, and adaptable workflows that meet evolving project demands.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of frontend development experience, specializing in React and Next.js.
• Advanced understanding of modern JavaScript (ES6+), asynchronous programming, state management, and component-based architecture.
• Proven skills in optimizing web performance through lazy loading, code splitting, server-side rendering, and performance profiling.
• Proficiency in web accessibility standards (WCAG) with a commitment to building inclusive applications.
• Experience with testing frameworks like Jest and Cypress to ensure code reliability and quality.
• Strong knowledge of version control with Git and CI/CD pipelines for streamlined development and deployment.
• Demonstrated leadership in guiding teams and driving projects to successful completion.
• Fluent in English with strong communication skills (German native skills are a plus).
