Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and develop the Geography Department to ensure high standards of teaching and learning.
- Deliver engaging and challenging geography lessons across all key stages.
- Develop and implement an inspiring curriculum that fosters curiosity and geographical awareness.
- Support and mentor staff within the department to encourage professional growth and best practices.
- Monitor student progress and implement strategies to raise attainment and achievement.
- Promote extracurricular activities, including field trips, to enhance learning beyond the classroom.
- Contribute to the wider school leadership and uphold the school’s values and ethos.
