QUALIFICATIONS

  • Completed engineering degree or commercial degree with strong technical background
  • Minimum 8 years work experience in an international company, thereof at least 3 years in a global role
  • Ideally experience in Sales, Marketing or Key Account Management in an international environment
  • Experience in working in a matrix organization, ideally on local and global level
  • Ability and willingness to learn a lot in short period of time
  • Ability to influence without formal authority
  • Excellent business English skills (written and verbal), German skills preferred
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively (ca. 30-40% of time)
  • Entrepreneurial self-starter, willing to challenge the status quo

Responsibilities:

  • Global sales responsibility for the Cement industry
  • Lateral leadership of sales and service colleagues in subsidiaries within matrix organization
  • Management of global growth initiatives to replace competition
  • Application and product training, consulting and support for sales teams, end-users and OEMs
  • Product, service and innovation development (e.g. new business models, partnerships)
  • Global travel to support local sales teams and visit customers (ca. 30-40% of time)
  • Strong collaboration with Application Engineering, Tribology, R&D, Product Management and Marketing to bring superior solutions to market
