KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Education – Bachelor’s Degree.
- 8-10 years of experience in the Freight Forwarding industry.
- Experience working in a multinational environment and in a large corporation.
- Experience with developing frameworks and implementing them across larger organizations.
- Front line sales interaction and an understanding of the challenges faced by Sales.
- Existing knowledge of the DGF organization is an advantage.
- Clear result orientated mindset.
- Action-oriented mindset which contributes to business.
- Experience with front line sales in FFW
- Good stakeholder management capabilities
- Strategic mindset
- Ability to engage and adopt to various levels of the organization, from front line sales to senior management.
- Ability to see through complex processes and systems landscape to design processes which are easy to understand and execute at a global scale.

Responsibilities:
JOB PURPOSE
The role is globally responsible for driving the strategic direction of how the OFR Product organization enables effective and competitive quotations across all our customer segments as a key lever to achieve our growth aspirations.
In addition, the role is also globally heading up the Go Green Plus OFR product forward, including responsibility for our pricing, deal structure and product marketing globally, leading DGF OFR to deliver the required decarbonization targets to support the DHL Groups sustainability commitments.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Driving Growth for the SME segment
- Leading the design and implementation of a global standard for the quotation flow from Quoteshop, DGF’s global quotation system to front line sales and customers.
- Drive the continuous improvement of the pricing flow from a global OFR Product point in close collaboration with the Global OFR OPS Process team and global sales as end users.
- Drive adaptation of the pricing flow standard with Marketing & Sales on a global scale
Driving Growth for OCCs and the tender segment
- Lead the global strategic design of a pricing flow for OCCs that will allow centralized pricing for all end-to-end pricing. This includes local charges as well as ocean freight.
- Drive the design of and implementation of a strategic repository for storing such cost elements and design a global process flow allowing access for OCCs to price RFQs and other large opportunities centrally.
Go Green Pricing
- Leading a strategic, centrally controlled pricing flow of Go Green opportunities, enabling an effective process to win more global RFQ business whilst improving the workload and time spend on quoting such opportunities.
- Drive the review GG+ sales pipeline from an OFR point of view and proactively engage in relevant opportunities to support pricing.
- Globally responsible for owning the pricing of OFR Go Green products in close collaboration with Trade Management including designing possible deal structures together with Marketing & Sales.
- Support marketing to strategically position the GG products both internally within OFR product and Sales, as well as externally to customers together with Marketing & Sales.
Ocean Freight Market Updates
- Overall responsible for OFR product market intelligence for our sales community as well as market updates to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead the development of the content with stakeholders within OFR and together with Marketing & Sales ensure distribution to relevant internal and external audience.
