Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the ongoing preparation and delivery of financial statements for Kapsch TrafficCom Group, ensuring compliance with all external reporting requirements.
- Establish and maintain accounting policies and controls, including group-wide IFRS knowledge transfer, as well as ensure fiscal controls.
- Serve as the first contact for all questions regarding IFRS and legal consolidation, with a special focus on capital consolidation.
- Lead audit procedures in collaboration with external auditors to ensure a smooth and efficient audit process.
- Maintain accurate accounting and financial records, including the general ledger, financial statements, regulatory, and management reports.
- Organize global financial processes and maintain ongoing communication with colleagues in subsidiaries and other corporate finance departments to ensure high-quality financial reporting.
- Provide support for all ad-hoc requirements from the EVP Finance and the executive board.
- Optimize and further develop our consolidation tool, Onestream, to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Lead the group accounting and consolidation team ensuring performance and excellent results.
