Description:
REQUIREMENTS:
- NEBOSH Certificate/Diploma or an equivalent qualification required
- 2 years of dedicated Health and Safety experience from a similar luxury hospitality background.
- Experienced in creating and delivering tailored training modules.
- Possess profound knowledge of Health and Safety best practices and relevant local regulations.
- Effectively collaborate across departments and influence teams to achieve collective goals.
- Clear communication, both written and verbal.
- Exhibit sharp problem-solving skills with a keen eye for identifying issues and assessing risks.
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite.
Responsibilities:
- Pioneering and implementing comprehensive programs to address and mitigate potential hazards.
- Staying updated with industry best practices and ensuring Montcalm Hotels stays at the forefront of safety and regulatory compliance.
- Establishing robust Safety, Health, and Environment systems that not only meet but exceed regulatory requirements.
- Spearheading the creation and deployment of a Health and Safety Road Map to enhance our Montcalm culture.
- Overseeing an Environmental consciousness initiative across all properties.
- Conducting regular Montcalm audits, maintaining related records, and ensuring timely statutory returns.
- Furnishing tailored support across all hotels, ensuring we always meet or exceed statutory safety standards.
- Organizing and facilitating training sessions to maintain a highly competent team, well-versed in Montcalm standards.
- Leading Incident Investigations, ensuring thorough reporting, and keenly monitoring corrective actions.
- Regularly evaluating and updating monthly Health Safety and Environmental KPIs.
- Collaborating on Risk Assessment processes for various tasks.
