WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a Head of HR. As Head of HR, your core mandate will be to implement progressive and forward-looking practices that help the company attract and retain the best talent and position us as the best place to work in Africa. The best candidates will be creative and forward-thinking aspiring leaders who are frustrated by current HR practices in the industry today and are looking for an opportunity to implement new exciting ideas to help us achieve our mandate. Successful candidates must also have the ability to work in a fast-paced and rapidly evolving organization. We are very passionate about diversity of thought and representation and will be looking for candidates with concrete well-thought-out ideas on how to foster these qualities. QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of progressive growth experience in an HR role at the fast growth tech startup or multinational with proven track record of implementing or proposing forward-thinking ideas
- Thought leader with experience implementing forward thinking performance management models that drive maximum growth and productivity
- Experience with change management and guiding a company through periods of rapid growth
- Thought leader with strong knowledge base on scaling company culture and driving employee engagement
- Experience designing compensation packages including ESOP structure and management
- Bachelor’s degree from a leading university in Africa or globally
- Understanding of employment law and regulations in Ghana and Nigeria
- Advanced strategic and problem solving skills
- Intermediate to advanced data analytics skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Access to strong talent networks across Africa and Globally
