DEPARTMENT MANAGER

We are looking for an ambitious department manager to oversee payroll administration for over 2,500 employees, drive digitalization efforts, and guide a dedicated team. You will play a key role in setting the strategic direction for the team while ensuring continued operational stability. WE IMAGINE THAT YOU:

We are looking for a department manager with a relevant education and management experience.
You may come from a similar position managing payroll processes and tasks, or you have in-depth knowledge of the payroll, finance or accounting area complemented by management experience. It is essential that you can see opportunities in new solutions and processes, and that you are good at communicating and collaborating.

We emphasise the following professional competencies:

  • You have strong professional skills along with the experience needed to support and influence the organisation around payroll
  • You have management experience, and you want to continue to develop as a leader
  • You have experience using payroll systems (e.g. KMD Nettoløn) and other HR systems
  • You have a strategic eye for and experience with process optimisation, digitalisation and automation
  • You have good analytical skills and attention to detail when needed, and you strive for high quality in your work
  • You are fluent in written and spoken Danish and English

  • Have strong business & stakeholder management skills
  • Are good at building relationships and collaborating

Responsibilities:

The tasks are wide-ranging and include everything from handling payroll to reporting and digitalization of HR processes.
Your main task will be to set the direction for the further development of the team while maintaining continued stable operations.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Payroll and personnel administration for approximately 2,500 employees
  • Supporting employees and managers with questions/requests related to payroll, guidelines etc.
  • Compensation & benefits
  • HR controlling & reporting
  • HR systems & digitalization

The team is involved in various HR projects. One of the next big projects will be the implementation of SAP SuccessFactors.
