Description:

At Broadridge, we’ve built a culture where the highest goal is to empower others to accomplish more. If you’re passionate about developing your career, while helping others along the way, come join the Broadridge team.
The HR team for Broadridge’s International division covers all business units across the UK, Ireland, Continental Europe and Asia Pacific. HR team members are situated in the UK, Ireland, France, Sweden, Romania, Poland, Philippines Japan and Hong Kong.
Our region is a successful growth story and this role will support our growth plans as we scale our organisation structure for the future to support both our target markets and our operational centres. You will need good organisation design skills to partner our President as we grow the region and implement global growth plans.
Broadridge is very acquisitive and HR supports the due diligence process by reviewing organisation and legal entity structure with our legal and finance teams, as well as managing the integration of people, HR processes and harmonising compensation and benefits.
This role will work with the International Leadership team on employee engagement issues and drive through projects related to improving and enhancing engagement especially with our acquired companies as they go through the change cycle.
The candidate will coach and support HRBPs and line managers in people management and engagement issues. Plus you will be tasked with improving retention rates where necessary and facilitating talent management initiatives in the Region. This role partners with our North American and Indian HR teams to drive corporate initiatives.
We have a team of Talent Acquisition specialists and the HRBPs work with the recruiters to ensure our selection processes reflect our values and hire for potential. You will partner with US colleagues to lead our global employer branding efforts in the region, emphasizing organizational values and our strong culture.
You will be accountable for our regional DEI efforts and work with our Associate Networks to promote locally appropriate events. We have a wide range of associate networks covering a range of initiatives with chapters in a variety of our locations. We have a variety of regional L&D programs and the successful candidate will sponsor these activities.
The region also has regional specialists in Global Mobility & Immigration, Compensation and Benefits and HR Operations. We all work closely together to ensure we support the business in an efficient and effective way. Any experience in these COEs would be valuable. The role is both strategic and hands on operational - reflecting the wider Broadridge culture.
The person
We are looking for an effective and inclusive leader and team player who can demonstrate their ability to coach and mentor members of the team. You will share our values and be comfortable with matrix management. You will lead a team of c30 across the region and be accountable for the team’s performance and engagement .
The successful candidate will have extensive senior experience at a leadership level in HR Business Partnering or COE. We are looking for employee relations experience in an International business, preferably financial services and/or Tech. You will be comfortable coaching and mentoring leaders and actively participating in our International Leadership Team.
An understanding of European employment law would be beneficial as would an understanding of mobility issues across regions. UK employment law expertise is a given.
Specifically, this role requires exposure to outsourcing and/or acquisitions and experience and the confidence to lead collective consultation. We are not unionised, however there is always a requirement for consultation in TUPE type scenarios in European acquisitions and similar legislation in APAC. A commercial outlook is a given.
An interest in compensation and benefits is needed to enable the successful candidate to partner with the regional COE and ensure we offer market level compensation and benefits. We are implementing a global grading/career framework in the near future and you will need the ability to lead the teams through this program and other regional programs as we transform our operations by implementing a regional payroll platform and automate our back office. This will help transform our region and support the drive to scale up our operations to support growth.
You should be prepared to learn and develop skills as needed and be able to demonstrate this ability throughout your current career.
Broadridge associates helped us envision our Connected Workplace - a work model that allows associates around the globe, dependent upon their role responsibilities, take advantage of the benefits of both on-site and off-site work to support our clients, one another, and the communities where we live and work. Our Connected Workplace is grounded in the concept of FACS: Flexible, Accountable, Connected, and Supported, which is our commitment to our associates. FACS supports our strong culture and allows us to achieve business goals while supporting meaningful work-life integration for our associates.
We are dedicated to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment and committed to providing a workplace that empowers associates to be authentic and bring their best to work. We believe that associates can only do their best when they feel safe, understood, and valued, and we work diligently and collaboratively to ensure Broadridge is a company—and ultimately a community—that recognizes and celebrates diversity in all its dimensions
