Job Description
We are seeking for a Head of IT Strategy & Architecture to lead our IT Strategy, Architecture, and Integration/Automation team. This pivotal role will oversee the development and execution of our IT strategy, ensuring alignment with the company’s objectives, and will drive innovation in our technology architecture. The successful candidate will be instrumental in defining the integration and automation initiatives across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and maintain the Unit4 enterprise architecture strategy, creating innovative and actionable plans. Contribute to ongoing projects and programs, ensuring effectiveness and alignment with return on investment goals.
  • Play a key role in formulating short, medium, and long-term enterprise architecture strategies, ensuring alignment with Unit4’s broader strategic business objectives.
  • Lead and promote the adoption of best practices to standardize integration architecture outputs across the enterprise architecture function, utilizing architecture governance processes like the Architecture Review Board.
  • Document and maintain architectural artifacts while supporting the business in assembling all system components.
  • Establish and enforce organization-wide standards for architecture, integration, and automation.
  • Oversee the Integration and Automation team, fostering innovation and operational excellence.
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual processes.
  • Lead architecture design to ensure IT systems are scalable, secure, and efficient.
  • Drive process improvements by leveraging IT automation and optimizing workflows.
  • Oversee the evaluation, selection, and adoption of new technologies, ensuring they align with business needs.
  • Manage relationships with third-party entities, including vendors, partners, and consultancies, through RFI/RFP processes when needed.
  • Lead IT cost optimization initiatives by rationalizing enterprise applications, consolidating systems, and optimizing technology investments.
  • Drive process improvements by leveraging IT automation and optimizing workflows.
  • Work closely with the IT Director and other stakeholders to align IT initiatives with business objectives.
  • Act as a strategic partner to business leaders, ensuring IT solutions meet business priorities and deliver measurable value.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver effective IT solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in IT strategy, architecture, and systems integration.
  • Expertise in integrating Cloud/SaaS applications, APIs, and legacy systems, with a solid understanding of the evolution towards digital, cloud, and API-driven integration capabilities.
  • Skilled in evaluating and selecting new technologies based on requirements, including managing proof of concepts to assess their ability to meet those needs.
  • Experience in developing enterprise-level architectures within a structured Enterprise Architecture Framework.
  • Proficiency in improving operational processes through automation and process redesign is an advantage.
  • Experience with IT cost optimization through Enterprise Application Rationalization Programs is an added benefit.
  • Knowledge and experience in build, deployment, change, and release processes, as well as automation, are considered advantageous.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in automation technologies and system integration processes.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Good English level.
