We are seeking a Head of IT, Wholesale Projects covering ROI and NI with drive & commitment to work in our fast-paced, dynamic, customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities:

Today we operate Musgrave Marketplace online, as well as a number of physical stores for our customers in the wholesale space, and we have future plans for developing this further into Irelands premier Wholesale food Emporium. We also own the Daybreak brand and support the retailers under this group. Wholesale is a key driver of revenue and margin within Musgrave, and as a strategic partner our role in IT is to shape the demand from the Wholesale team, and ensure we have a fit for purpose IT estate to meet our future growth needs.
As Head of IT, Wholesale Project Operations your role is the engage with the wholesale business stakeholders and ensure we in IT deliver what is required for them to grow. Some of these initiatives will be delivered by other parts of IT e.g. new initiatives in the online space will be delivered and operated by our Digital team but all non ecommerce and data changes will be delivered by your team through product owner(s). You will be responsible for defining roadmaps with the wider community in IT in response to the requirements that you see in Wholesale. A key responsibility will be to shape and manage the future state of Musgrave’s wholesales technology landscape.
We are looking for you to join the Wholesale IT where we deliver and manage all the systems and application that are used in stores (retail and wholesale) across all brands. With the vast estate across ROI and NI and our never-ending ambition to deliver value for consumers and retailers alike, we are always spinning up new projects and delivering at high pace. We have a broad group of stakeholders with whom we work closely to ensure we deliver value and prioritise correctly.

Your activities in this role will include the following:

  • Partnering with the Musgrave Wholesale to collect requirements for technology improvements and innovations with focus on in store experience including Daybreak.
  • Partnering with Musgrave NI on retail and wholesale to collect requirements for technology improvements and innovations
  • Working closely with other Heads of in IT to deliver the improvements and innovations
  • Operate and support applications in line with SLAs agreed.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements
  • Communicating effectively with stakeholders to develop solutions and achieve consensus.
  • Contributing to IT strategy, standards & governance
  • Leading technology evaluations and guiding our technology goals
  • Inform and manage budgets

We want you to take an active role in all the above, working closely with Musgrave Colleagues and 3rd party Delivery and operations teams.
