Job Description
The Head of Leadership Development is accountable for all leadership development related topics within the Umdasch Group. We are seeking an experienced HR professional with outstanding people skills to ensure that our leadership programs and initiatives are effective, efficient, and aligned to overall business objectives.
This position can be located either in our headquarters in Amstetten (Austria) or in one of our global headoffices.

In this role you are reporting to the Head of Global HR Umdasch Group and will…

  • …develop and execute a strategic leadership development plan that align with the organization’s vision, values, and business goals.
  • …further develop our existing leadership development programs and create new programs - including in-person workshops, coaching, mentoring and e-learning modules.
  • …carry out leadership programs across all divisions globally.
  • …design and deliver initiatives to enhance leadership skills across all levels of leadership.
  • …utilize assessment tools to identify leadership strengths and development areas.
  • …regularly evaluate the effectiveness of leadership development initiatives and make data-driven improvments.
  • …act as a trusted advisor to managers on leadership development matters.
  • …manage the budget for leadership development programs and ensure cost-effective use of resources.
  • …disciplinary lead & further develop HR Leadership Development team
  • …travel regularly globally (30% on average).

A SALARY IN LINE WITH THE MARKET IS OFFERED FOR THIS POSITION, WHICH IS BASED ON THE SPECIFIC QUALIFICATION AND ADEQUATE PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE.

We are required by law to state a minimum salary. The minimum annual gross salary for this position in Austria is 55.400,00 EUR according to the collective agreement (woodworking industry).
