THE OPPORTUNITY

The Head of Learning and Development role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of EY professionals for the future. As part of a global network, you would be involved in designing and delivering learning programs to enhance the skills of employees, enabling them to better serve clients and drive business growth. Your key responsibilities would include managing courses within a curriculum, creating deployment strategies, and planning continuous improvement. By focusing on these tasks, you play a crucial role in building a consistent foundation of leadership capabilities for all EY employees, regardless of their rank or service line. In terms of working conditions, working as the Head of Learning and Development at EY, your primary focus will be engaging with stakeholders, while also collaborate with dynamic team members, managing resources effectively, and driving the adoption of learning courses within the organization. The role requires strong leadership capabilities, business acumen, stakeholder management skills, and the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders at all levels. In this role within the Learning and Development department, we are seeking experienced candidates for a full-time position based in Budapest. Please note that this opportunity is not open to international applicants.

Responsibilities:

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Understand the needs of different service lines to ensure tailored solutions
  • Resonate with the needs of various stakeholders, ensuring their expectations are met
  • Harmonize bottom-up needs with strategic goals, maintaining the “One Firm” concept
  • Support the definition, design, and development of local learning programs.
  • Coordinate the identification of skills needs and support learning design.
  • Develop and manage a group of courses within a curriculum.
  • Create deployment strategies and budgets for learning programs.
  • Leading a team of 5 professionals
  • Developing cooperation with strategically critical education/training institutions.
  • Engage with internal and external resources for learning program development.
  • Support the creation of learning solution plans and materials.
  • Provide evidence-based insights, drive quality services, and act as a change champion in learning initiatives.

TO QUALIFY FOR THE ROLE, YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Human Resources, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Learning and Development in corporate environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience in leading a team of at least 5.
  • Proficiency in creating and managing learning deployment plans and budgets.
  • Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication within the organization and with stakeholders.
  • Experience in coordinating and supporting the design and development of learning programs.
