Head of Legal, APAC

Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for leading a team across the APAC region (which has both sales & distribution and manufacturing entities) and be responsible for managing the full spectrum of legal activities.
• You will manage and facilitate training on legal and regulatory issues and develop and forward-thinking legal strategies to support business objectives and stakeholder needs.
• You will also oversee and contribute to the preparation, negotiation, and interpretation of contracts, and implement policies to meet legal and regulatory requirements.
• You will manage the spend and instruct and coordinate any matters with external counsels as and when necessary.

Experience:

• Qualified in United States, United Kingdom, or any Commonwealth country, and a member in good standing with a state bar.
• Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience, including at least 8 years in a law firm or corporate legal department.
• At least 5 years of managerial experience, supervising staff or leading projects.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills, with excellent written and verbal communication abilities, including effective listening and the capacity to influence positive outcomes
• As China & India are the 2 keys markets in APAC, prior experience managing these crucial markets will be required.
