QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor Degree in Law
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of legal experience in the financial services industry, with a focus on prime brokerage and investment banking.
  • Strong understanding of securities laws, regulatory compliance, and financial markets.
  • Proven track record of providing strategic legal advice and leadership in a complex business environment.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership:
  • Lead and manage the legal team supporting the Prime Brokerage and Investment Banking divisions.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Contract Management:
  • Oversee the drafting, negotiation, and review of contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to prime brokerage and investment banking activities.
  • Risk Management:
  • Identify potential legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Dispute Resolution:
  • Manage and resolve legal disputes, litigation, and arbitration matters.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including compliance, risk, and business development teams, to support business objectives.
