We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated manager for our “Managed Cloud Server and eCommerce” solutions team to take up the challenge to become head of building and maintaining our cloud server infrastructure that enables us to serve our customers with various eCommerce products.

WHO WE ARE HOPING YOU ARE

• You are a person who loves turning complex technical and customer-oriented issues into structured, simple and user-friendly processes, guidelines and plans, based on a pragmatic approach and with cost/benefit of the group as objective
• You are analytical and business-oriented and like to work in a multicultural and engaging environment
• You have been working in a technical and business-oriented, environment and your colleagues know you as a genuinely nice person who takes on the responsibility for timely and agreed upon deliverables
• You are comfortable with working remotely and locally, managing a dedicated tech team delivering our end to end digital experience solutions enabling different eCommerce business models

REQUIREMENTS

• Ideally, you have a degree in computer science or have successfully completed training as an IT specialist or comparable training and you have business know-how, potentially from a former eCommerce-based position
• You have at least 5 years of experience in leading a technical team
• Sound knowledge of the internet/hosting industry and potentially shopware is an advantage
• You have experience with agile development methods and extensive experience in project management. You can also clearly formulate and prioritize product requirements
• Your high goal and result orientation paired with your empathic way of working and your great cooperation skills characterize you
• Good written and spoken German and English skills, as well as a class B driver’s license round off your profile

• You are responsible for leading, motivating and promoting the “Managed Cloud & eCommerce Products” team within the group CTO organization thereby driving our managed solutions through a profound understanding of requirements and customer offerings within the subject of eCommerce cloud offerings.
• You are responsible for the technical leadership of the “Managed Cloud & eCommerce Products” team including the implementation of daily management, communication and leadership.
• Your tasks will include project management across the entire product portfolio and product life cycle for managed cloud eCommerce products as well as independent responsibility, planning and implementation of technical projects within this area
• Observing and analyzing market trends and competitor offerings and identifying customer requirements
• You manage the coordination of relevant areas in the company for product launches and product maintenance as well as the monitoring of product performance using technical and commercial KPIs
• You create business cases and forecasts as well as profitability calculations for projects and products and contribute to the strategic development of the cloud server products
• Ensuring data security and security guidelines in cooperation with central departments is essential to you
• Together with your team, you are responsible for the maintenance and operating infrastructure components also with close co-operation with our group support organization
