Description:

Overview:

  • Generates strong business results and sustainable, profitable growth of PepsiCo Beverages business; engages consumers, builds powerful brands.
  • Co-leads the development and leads execution of PepsiCo Beverages brands strategies, providing input to the regional strategy, co-leading PepsiCo portfolio development and identifying opportunities for future expansion.
  • Develops direct and indirect team in terms of strategy, brand building capabilities and operational excellence. Fosters human centric and brand building culture in wider organization.

Responsibilities:

  • BUSINESS PERFORMANCE: Delivers agreed volume, revenue, profit, and SOM for PepsiCo Beverages brands. Manages P&L.
  • ST and LT STRATEGIC PLANNING: Leads annual (AOP) PepsiCo Beverages brands strategies and plans. Leads and provides inputs to the 3Y strategy and plans.
  • ACTIVATION / COMMUNICATION: Executes and amplifies brands campaigns and leads disruptive, locally relevant activations, which contribute to enhancement of brand power and relevant brand attributes, while staying true to strategies outlined in Brand Growth Strategies.
  • INNOVATION: Shapes innovation strategy working directly with Insights, R&D, Commercialization team; leverages / repurposes NPDs from other markets
  • IN MARKET EXECUTION QUALITY: ensures perfect timing and quality of marketing projects execution; closely collaborates with DX, Channel Leads and Revenue Management to influence PepsiCo Beverages brands trade, shopper marketing/sales and PPA/promotional agenda and foster quality implementation.
  • PEOPLE DEVELOPMENT: Manages and develops team, creates a healthy work environment where talent is given the appropriate opportunity to grow, gain experience and have the opportunity for advancement. Develops direct team in terms of strengthening their strategic, brand building, brand communication and activation capabilities. Leads People Planning Process for PepsiCo Beverages marketing team.
  • STAKEHOLDER / RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT: Effectively collaborates with European Sector team to drive buy in of PL Beverages agenda, assure right resourcing and OTIF delivery of relevant assets/ streams. Builds relationships with creative and media agencies to ensure consistent quality and cost efficiency.
  • RESPONSIBLE FOR A&M BUDGET of approx. 35+ MM USD

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

15 years of experience in Brand Building in multinational company, with proven track record of:

  • Shaping winning brand marketing strategies and executing them in market(s)
  • Developing award winning marketing programs delivering results in terms of equity KPIs and business KPIs in the marketplace
  • Leading portfolio strategy
  • Leading marketing and x-functional teams
  • Developing strong partnerships with multiple senior stakeholders incl. local and regional
  • Developing successful marketing teams - knows how to identify & build talent, & create the right environment for top marketing talent to grow careers at PepsiCo; min 8 year+ hands on managerial experience of bigger teams (strong people management skills)
  • Fluent English
  • Flexibility to adapt to a changing business environment.
  • Ability to balance conflicting long- and short-term objectives.
  • Clear, effective, and persuasive communication skills
