As our Head of Marketing, you’ll be at the forefront of crafting and executing bold, brilliant strategies that drive brand love, customer joy, and serious growth in our key markets. You’ll report directly to our Chief Brand Officer and Co-Founder, leading a squad of super-talented marketers and teaming up with our amazing cross-functional crew to achieve big things.

Responsibilities:
- People First: Lead, motivate and develop the marketing team by setting clear goals, supporting their personal development and fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.
- Bring the Vision: Develop and implement a comprehensive, focused marketing strategy that is aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
- Know our consumers and markets: Understand our consumers through insight and data and ensure they are at the heart of our decision-making. Use market research to identify trends + opportunities to inform the marketing plan. Stay informed of market trends and competition in the markets where we operate.
- Build the brand: Strengthen the brand positioning, enhance our brand image and keep our tone of voice consistently funny, feminist and fierce.
- Be a Commercial Marketeer: Work closely with the Commercial Team to ensure our plans increase brand presence and crucially drive sales via in-store activities, events, brand proposals, trade marketing and relevant marketing activations. Need to be comfortable with numbers, winning in the retail environment, digging into trends, guiding the team to develop strong retail first plans, and best in class relationships with our retail partners.
- Budget Management: Manage the overall marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximise ROI, with flexibility when required.
- Deliver brand-building campaigns: Oversee the creation and execution of marketing campaigns across different channels, including digital, social media, email, and offline marketing. Foster a data-driven culture to monitor and analyse the performance of marketing initiatives against defined KPIs.
- Strong digital acumen: Demonstrate a solid working knowledge of digital media, content creation and how to best drive brand awareness while optimising sales and profit across our Ecomm platforms.
- Manage External Partners: Sourcing and managing long-term successful partnerships with agencies/freelancers to support the delivery of goals across various channels, including PR, digital, socials, media and creative.
- Cross-functional collaboration + manage internal stakeholder communication: Work closely with all departments to ensure cohesive and integrated marketing efforts. Own communication of marketing plans to the wider team and influence senior stakeholders to ensure concise and timely decision-making.
- Product and Portfolio ownership: including NPD planning, growing the core range and ensuring high quality, relevant products that our core consumer values.
Who you are:
- Experience: We’d love to speak to you if you have proven experience in a leadership role (Head of Marketing or Senior Marketing Manager). Ideally, you have been on the journey from start-up to a global brand and have proven success across Product, Digital, Trade Marketing, Creative/Content, and Brand Communications. Experience in the US market is a plus.
- Industry Knowledge: Prior experience in personal care or FMCG sector, with a passion for sustainability and eco-friendly products.
- Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to develop and implement effective marketing strategies, relevant to the phase of our brand
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret multiple data sources to inform narrative and make data-driven decisions.
- Communication Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Brilliant at storytelling, understanding the audience and guiding the team to create relevant sales stories and consumer messaging.
- Digital Proficiency: Proficient in digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, social media, and content marketing.
- Working style: A flexible, can-do attitude with a start-up mentality. with the ability to manage multiple projects at once and a high capacity for workload
Salary: £75,000 - £85,000 per annum
Logistics: Hybrid, 1 day per week in London (+ occasional travel)
