Description:

We are seeking a strategic and innovative Head of Marketing to lead our marketing efforts, with a particular emphasis on digital marketing, marketplace expansion and brand. The ideal candidate will develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that drives brand growth and aligns with our omnichannel business model.
As the HO Marketing for Jones Bootmaker, you will play a pivotal role in producing significant online and marketplace growth, driving the revival of an esteemed brand and putting it back at the heart of the British footwear industry. Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that the customer is at the heart of all decisions by actively listening to customer feedback and using customer profiling data to inform the digital experience as well as the experience across our marketplaces
  • Partner with the Area Manager to ensure a seamless and exceptional customer experience across all touchpoints
  • Drive customer and sales performance with an effective and optimized marketing plan
  • Ensure the brand and customer experience is consistent across all channels, including Retail, Ecommerce, and Marketplaces
  • Analyse marketing data to develop SMART objectives and actions that drive brand awareness and sales growth
  • Work closely with the marketplaces, buying and merchandising teams to develop the marketplace proposition
  • Work with the retail and product teams to align marketing strategies with the overall strategy
  • Manage marketing budgets and ensure cost-effective strategies are implemented
  • Produce trading and budgeting forecasts for the year ahead
  • Produce a high-level 5-year growth plan across the marketing channels, demonstrating core areas of growth, required investment, and ROI
  • Communicate marketing plans and developments clearly to internal and external stakeholders
  • Partner with internal services to enhance marketing efforts and achieve business goals
  • Support product teams with information and analysis of customer data
  • Foster an open feedback culture that encourages new ideas and initiatives in marketing
  • Working with the marketing team, develop and implement digital sales strategies that drive revenue growth through online channels, focusing on SEO, PPC, email marketing, social media, and affiliate marketing
  • Work closely with the Ecommerce team to implement strategies that improve online conversion rates and average order values through A/B testing, user experience enhancements, and personalized marketing
  • Develop and execute customer acquisition strategies leveraging digital marketing, SEO, and content marketing to attract and convert new customers
  • Collaborate with the CRM team to enhance customer retention through personalized marketing, loyalty programs, and targeted communications
  • Establish and monitor KPIs to measure the effectiveness of digital marketing and sales initiatives
  • Utilise Tableau and/or Zoined to create specific JBM marketing dashboards to track, measure, and report on the performance of digital marketing campaigns, providing actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Manage and optimise the presence on digital marketplaces, ensuring product listings are accurate, engaging, and optimized for search
  • Coordinate digital marketing campaigns with in-store promotions to create a unified customer experience and maximise overall sales impact
  • Conduct regular ROI analysis of digital marketing activities to ensure the efficient use of budget and resources, adjusting strategies as necessary to improve performance
