Our client is seeking an analytical and driven Head of Marketing with passion for paid media and continuous improvement to join their rapidly growing global SaaS business.
As Head of Marketing, you will be instrumental in the management and execution of all multi-channel marketing efforts, both directly and indirectly, to amplify brand awareness, drive customer acquisition and retention.
In this agile and adaptable role, no two days will be the same. You will have creative freedom to push boundaries and adapt and execute the paid media and marketing strategy to increase revenue based on analytical metrics to deliver the business growth plans.
As the steward of the organisation’s brand, you will have autonomy to steer the ship on how brand assets and voice are utilised across all mediums to support the customer journey. With a keen eye for detail, your strong analytical skills will support you to drive, track and execute marketing activities whilst managing the marketing team with the goal of enhancing sales and retention.

Responsibilities:

  • Digital campaigns: Ownership of all paid media strategy and planning including media buying and optimisation. Manage all paid media including audience, keywords, campaigns, content type, ad unit types, cost/budgeting, competitor / industry benchmarking. To include search engine marketing (SEM), search engine optimization (SEO), display advertising, social media, email marketing and content marketing.

  • Performance analytics: Ongoing tracking and reporting of all campaign performance plus ongoing optimisation. Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of all marketing efforts, providing regular reports and insights to the management team.

  • Reporting and optimisation: Regular campaign reporting of subscribers with regular ongoing optimisation of all sales and retention related marketing activities and overall sales and retention performance.
  • Line management responsibility: Oversee activities of Marketing Associates to ultimately contribute to overall Marketing performance.
  • Market research: Conduct ongoing research as needed to identify trends, define our customer, identify customer needs and competitor analysis; and utilise this information to enhance marketing strategies and tactics.
  • Senior leadership communication: Regular leadership collaboration to synchronise marketing activities with the company’s objectives.
  • Customer journey management: Own the full customer journey lifecycle, including CRM and email marketing programs.
  • Content management: Execute, enhance and revise the content calendar with the support of the Marketing Associate. Oversee execution via external affiliates, influencers, content creators and internal constituents.
  • Website management: Management of the company website, ensuring it remains user-friendly, optimised for search engines and serves as an effective customer and prospective customer resource
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Development, Product Management, Operations and Customer Support, to align marketing activities with overall business objectives and support their initiatives.
  • Influencer marketing: Management of influencer marketing tactics including identifying, contracting, optimising, messaging and calendar alongside their overall performance.
  • Budget management: Complete ownership of the media budget management in line with financial targets.
