Description:

The main purpose of your role as Head of Marketing you will work as part of the Commercial Leadership team, as the Head of Marketing you proactively engaging with the entire leadership group taking responsibility for the strategic direction of Zzoomm’s annual marketing plan. The creation, management and delivery of the annual growth plans which aligns with business acquisition, product and revenue objectives.
You would be responsible for the strategic direction of Zzoomm’s annual marketing plan while working to continuously ensure the company marketing goals are communicated across the entire organisation and improving the company’s marketing outreach efforts
The role is flexible but you will be expected to be in the Oxford office twice a week and a week and be willing to visit other regional offices as required and will report into the Chief Commercial Office.
Responsibilities:
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE…
- Creation, management and delivery of the annual marketing plan that aligns with business acquisition, product, customer retention and revenue objectives. Focusing on growing audiences and the uptake for products and services.
- Forecasting, budget and resource management
- Consistently identifying new or expanded revenue opportunities and strategising the implementation of plans.
- Own agency relationships
- Support the CCO on commercial aspects of the business
- Develop product & pricing models in conjunction with the Commercial Team leadership
- Create and oversee the marketing campaign process, from the insight to creative, from production to distribution across all available media channels including PR
- Manage the design and production of promotional materials, such as digital off-site, websites, Direct Mail, leaflets, outdoor and brochures.
- Oversee the company’s attendance at events, such as local shows and festivals that will drive awareness, consideration and purchase
- Measure the success of marketing programs to determine the most effective means of driving sales
- Oversee content creation across all collateral
- Work collaboratively with Sales, Engineering and Operations to ensure effective delivery and support of products and services
- Research and analyse market trends and competitors to ensure that we stay ahead of the game
- Keep abreast of latest developments within the broadband and wider telecommunications sector
- Monitor macro/micro economic impact and make appropriate recommendations
- Collaborate with department stakeholders to implement system changes and processes to enhance the capability of the business
- Interpret and understand data to create insights
- Routinely sharing strategies, progress, results, learnings, and relevant industry trends, with the broader team. Creating weekly/monthly/ad hoc reports for the executive team
- Identifying ways to grow the marketing department and secure resources, sourcing talent to ensure the curation and retention of specialist skill sets across your teams
- Promoting and embedding strong and inspirational leadership to the entire team by demonstrating the company’s values and championing the leadership behaviour framework.

We’re seeking a proactive and experienced Head of Marketing who is motivated to meet goals and achieve targets, able to cope well in pressurised situations, maintaining resilience whilst managing setbacks effectively takes. SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE…
- Educated to degree standard, ideally a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Psychology, Communications, Advertising, or a Business Management related subject.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in a marketing role.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a management role.
- Fluent level of both spoken and written English.
- Experience in leading your teams’ day-to-day duties and responsibilities, as well as project managing larger ad hoc projects.
- The ability to develop strong relationships with cross departmental team members to enable collaboration, advice sharing, and directional leadership where required.
- Excellent understanding of regulations, professional standards, policies, procedures, and legislation.
- The ideal candidate will have some relevant industry experience.
