Description:
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
- Extensive experience (5+ years) in healthcare management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Understanding Hospital billing- self funding and Insurance facility fees
- In-depth knowledge of hospital operations, healthcare regulations, and industry best practices.
- Strong financial management and budgeting skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Problem-solving abilities with a focus on operational efficiency and quality improvement.
- Ability to lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong decision-making capabilities under pressure.

Responsibilities:
- Operational Management:
- Oversee all day-to-day activities across hospital departments (e.g., clinical, administrative, support services).
- Ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care across all outpatient and theatre departments.
- Monitor and optimize the use of hospital resources – utilising space ( 6 consulting rooms, 2 local theatres and 2 GA theatres, staff and equipment.
- Manage hospital budgets, ensuring efficient financial management and cost control in consideration of stock management and procurement.
- Staff Management:
- Supervise hospital department leads and managers.
- Ensure safe and efficient staffing levels and professional development of hospital personnel to identify, grow and retain talent
- Foster a collaborative work environment across hospital and office sites
- Quality & Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, safety standards, and accreditation requirements, CQC, BCIR, JCCP, ISCAS, WHO, ICO
- Promote quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to patient care and hospital services, with a solutions driven focus for improvement.
- Strategic Planning & Improvement:
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to improve hospital operations, patient satisfaction, streamline tasks, automation and profitability.
- Lead process improvement projects (implement stock management system) to streamline workflows and reduce waste.
- Address patient care and safety concerns promptly and effectively, collaborating with department heads to ensure a 360 solutions-based approach.
- Visibility of cost by procedure by consultant, working with Sales Director and Commercial Director to drive growth in most profitable service lines while creating a reduction in cost to less profitable lines.
- Patient Care & Satisfaction:
- Work closely with clinical and support staff to enhance the patient experience.
- Resolve patient complaints or concerns and ensure timely resolution.
- Lead initiatives to increase patient satisfaction scores and hospital reputation- external platforms such as Trust Pilot, Google.
- Consultants ( doctors) key stakeholders, contractual workers- drive strong onboarding and retention process in the form of diary utilisation and service user satisfaction.
- Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate risks related to hospital operations, patient safety, and financial sustainability.
- Ensure appropriate emergency preparedness and disaster response plans are in place.
- Ensure data visibility from cost control to staff efficiency
- Oversee clinical governance.
- Technology & Innovation:
- Oversee the adoption of new healthcare technologies to improve patient care, data management, and operational efficiency- new CRM system upgrade in 2025 Pabau 2
- Ensure the hospital’s information systems are secure, efficient, and support clinical decision-making.
