The Scottish Events Campus (SEC) is one of the leading event destinations in Europe, renowned for hosting an array of world-class conferences, exhibitions, and live events. Our state-of-the-art facilities, coupled with a passionate and dedicated team, ensure every event is executed to the highest standards. We are now seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Conference and Events Operations to join our team and drive operational excellence across our diverse portfolio of events.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Conference and Events Operations team, ensuring the seamless execution of all events hosted at the SEC
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance operational efficiency and client satisfaction
  • Oversee the coordination and logistics of all conference and event activities, from initial planning through to delivery and post-event evaluation
  • Collaborate with internal departments, clients, and external partners to ensure all events are delivered to the highest standards
  • Manage budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure financial objectives are met
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, incorporating feedback and best practices to optimise operations
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements, fostering a culture of safety and excellence
  • Represent the SEC at industry events and forums, promoting our services and building strong professional networks
