ABOUT YOU

We are looking for a pragmatic, organised, and compassionate leader who can bring structure, logic, and operational excellence to the organisation. You don’t need experience in horticulture, mental health or income generation, but you must possess excellent operational and HR skills, along with a strong ability to drive consistency and culture across multiple sites.

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

Together, we’re looking for a new Head of Operations tohelp manage the day-to-day running of Growing Well’s services ensuring parity, consistency, and excellence across all sites. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will deputise as needed and act as a senior ambassador for the organisation. You’ll drive operational efficiency, embed a cohesive culture across sites, and ensure Growing Well continues in its efforts to deliver compassionate and meaningful impact.
The successful candidate will:
- Be a member of the Senior Leadership Team, acting as a senior ambassador for the charity, assisting the CEO in the creation of organisational strategy and ensuring it is implemented effectively via clear, achievable, work systems
- Oversee our sites’ operations and administration, including service, product and project delivery, IT, legal, HR, health and safety, plus beneficiary and client relationship management
- Drive organisational development at Growing Well, introducing and optimising policies and systems that improve and promote company vision and culture
- Lead and motivate staff to achieve organisational objectives, via the direct line management of our site managers
- Evaluate organisational operational performance and recommend strategies to improve results
