Make an impact
Swisslog are currently seeking a Head of Parts Global based in Dortmund with hybrid working available. The Head of Parts Global will lead the spare parts global team and will be responsible for the strategic development of the global parts business.
- Establish and manage a digitalised experience for the customer to create a seamless process in which parts and packages can be ordered, shipped and tracked in an efficient way across the globe.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across purchasing and supply chain, and influence outcomes that provide accurate and competitive pricing arrangements captured in the systems
- Repurpose the international spare parts team to deliver value to the regions through parts packages, efficient and competitive shipping and analysis of opportunities for increase in sales revenue
- Lead the global data management strategy across parts including master data management and analysis of trends and reports
- Identify and implement a pricing strategy for each region and country tailored to yield growth of revenue and margin with our customers
- Provide a seamless and engaging experience for our internal and external customers that reflect in our customer satisfaction reports
- Seek and promote further digitalisation opportunities throughout the customer service business
Application Requirements
What you need to succeed
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role within the spare parts, supply chain, or logistics sectors
- Strong global or multi-regional experience ideally within the intralogistics, manufacturing or industrial sectors
- Exceptional strategic thinking and leadership abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation
- Excellent understanding of inventory management, demand forecasting, and supply chain optimization
- Strong analytical skills and ability to make data-driven decisions
- Ability to manage complex, cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Familiarity with digital transformation trends in the spare parts industry is a plus
- Fluent German and English language
