SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Minimum 10 years of experience across multiple HR/People functions with at least 5 years in a Leadership role at Luxury Retail entity. 5+ years of experience working with global teams and driving organisational change initiatives and developing plans for a global organisation.
- Substantial experience in Generalist HR role, to include experience across the HR spectrum; Employee Relations, Talent and Development, Recruitment, Managing Change and Culture Development, Learning and Development, Reward, Recognition and Organisational Design.
- Experience implementing people strategy and operating in a culture led organisation.
- Thorough knowledge of employment related laws and regulations.
- Approachable with exceptional interpersonal skills and strong negotiation and conflict resolution ability.
- Ability to build relationships and network easily, both internally and externally.
- Excellent leadership skills with authentic, collaborative and supportive style.
- Communication: Strong and effective presentation skills and ability to converse with a diverse range of people at all levels, with tact and diplomacy. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Pace: Ability to work in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment by being flexible and adaptable.

Responsibilities:
PURPOSE OF POSITION
To own, manage and deliver the day-to-day operational elements of the People & Culture Department (HR), across Retail & Head Office for EMEA, ensuring a best practice approach to all aspects of PCT delivery. Be a business partner to UK Senior Management Team and an active member of the Global Senior Management Team to ensure collaboration and support global project delivery. Be an ambassador for Manolo Blahnik values with the drive, passion and HR expertise to ensure that the MB team are a high performing, engaged, and motivated workforce.
The Head of People & Culture will play a crucial role in supporting the CPO in the effective application of the people strategy, through the delivery of HR/people projects, partnering with senior leaders on the delivery of various programmes and initiatives as well as be a key contributor in the overall business objectives representing the HR viewpoint. This role will deputise for the CPO in their absence and requires exceptional leadership, communication and organisational skills to interact effectively with various stakeholders across all levels.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Strategy: Support the Chief People Officer in creating the People & Culture Strategy and support in its implementation for the UK and EMEA market.
- People Planning:Partner with the Senior Management Team to understand current and future talent needs, retention and succession planning.
- Senior Management Team: Be an active member of the SMT and represent the HR voice/view on all aspects of business discussions amongst peer group. Take responsibility for any PCT related actions.
- Projects: Be the project manager/driver for any PCT related projects to ensure effective project management; including stakeholder management to ensure effective and timely delivery.
- Budget: Responsible for building and managing the People & Culture budget spend including payroll spend budgets.
- Resourcing: Ensure that all recruitment needs are addressed in a timely manner and support the Talent Acquisition Partner to ensure that the recruitment process represents Manolo Blahnik.
- HR Processes: Manage and streamline employee lifecycle processes including, but not limited to, onboarding and offboarding, visas, transfers, compensation changes, promotions, and leavers. Anticipate future business needs and create and/or update policies, procedures and guidelines as and when required to ensure compliance for the Americas.
- Employee Relations: Provide advice, guidance and coaching to employees and managers on all aspects of the employee lifecycle and people processes.
- Employee Relations: Address employee relations issues including disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Legal Compliance: Review and maintain compliance for UK & EMEA with local employment laws and regulations and recommend best practices.
- Employee Engagement: Ensure the Manolo Blahnik culture is one of engagement with a highly motivated workforce. Partner with the Global People & Culture team to deliver employee engagement initiatives including wellbeing to Manolo Blahnik.
- Performance Reviews: Oversee the Performance Appraisal process and ensure follow up for any identified training needs that will enhance growth and development.
- Learning and Development: Collaborate with the L&D Manager to create bespoke training solutions for the UK & EMEA market as and when required. Support the L&D Manager is sourcing appropriate external training providers to fulfil company development requirements.
- Compensation & Benefits: Research and analyse trends in compensation and benefits and propose competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure organisation attracts and retains top talent
- Payroll: Own and ensure effective administration of payroll, benefits, leaves of absence, workers compensation programs, etc., ensuring accurate and timely submission and communication.
- Systems: Maintain HRIS, employee files, records, claims, and documentation.
