Description:
We are now recruiting a Head of people for BioLamina, a fast growing and dynamic biotechnology company with a global presence. In this role you will ensure the establishment of an effective and efficient human resource management function that supports BioLamina’s international organizational growth in alignment with its strategic goals. You will oversee all aspects of HR, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, learning and development, compensation and benefits, and compliance.
The Head of people reports to the CEO and the team reporting to the role is an HR & Payroll coordinator, a Recruitment & HR specialist and the Office manager. The position is based at the headquarter in Sundbyberg, Stockholm, where production, R&D, logistics, sales, and marketing are all under the same roof.
BioLamina offers a unique portfolio within the expanding stem cell and cell therapy markets. The products are well-recognized by the international stem cell community. BioLamina’s vision is to become the leading global provider of cell culture solutions to enable lifesaving therapies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in HR Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 7-10 years in progressive HR leadership roles in a global setting.
- Skills in strategic thinking, recruitment, compensation management, talent retention, performance management, and compliance expertise.
- Knowledge of HR policies, legal compliance, HRIS management, communication, and change management.
- Proven experience leading and developing high-performing HR teams. Strong strategic thinking and the ability to influence and collaborate with senior leaders.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities:
HR Strategy and Organizational Planning
- Create and execute a comprehensive people strategy that aligns with the company’s mission, values, and business objectives.
Recruitment and Onboarding
- Lead and ensure an effective recruitment process from planning to onboarding.
- Design and implement an effective onboarding process for new employees.
Compensation and Benefits Management
- Develop, review, and manage the company’s compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and alignment with industry standards.
Talent Management & Retention
- Collaborate with department heads to identify skill needs and development opportunities.
- Design and organize training programs to enhance employees’ skills and opportunities for advancement and growth.
Performance Management
- Manage the performance management cycle, including goal setting, feedback, development and regular performance reviews.
- Provide guidance to managers on performance issues and employee development.
Work Environment and Well-being
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage the engagement survey cycle.
Personnel Administration
- Lead the work for personnel documentation, contracts, agreements, and other administrative tasks.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date personnel records.
HR Policy and Legal Compliance
- Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations. Provide guidance to managers and employees on HR-related matters and address employee relations issues as they arise.
- Perform work in compliance with the BioLamina Quality Management System (QMS) and contribute to the continuous development of the QMSWork.
