Lester Aldridge is looking for a Head of People Communications and Engagement to join their Human Resources team.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCE:
- Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to create strategic communication plans and execute them successfully.
- Experience in vision, culture and values communications.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative mindset with a strong understanding of how to partner with multiple stakeholders.

- Proficiency in digital communication tools and platforms.
- Ability to work collaboratively and influence across various levels of the organisation.
- Confident communicator, able to express ideas clearly and persuasively and influence at all levels. This individual will need to establish and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders and staff across the organisation.
- Professional and credible, with the ability to act with tact and discretion and to maintain confidentiality are essential.
- Operates as an effective consultant to partners and team leaders. Can identify business issues requiring input and action.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for crafting HR/People messages and finding innovative ways to communicate, inspire & inform.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive People communication and engagement strategy which aligns with culture, values, and business objectives.
- Responsible for identifying, developing and implementing innovative people and communications projects including establishing an internal people brand.
- Design and implement initiatives that foster employee engagement, ensuring consistent messaging across various platforms, including our Intranet, internet, newsletters, town halls, and social media.
- Partner with the HRBP team to design, deliver our colleague engagement surveys strategy, approach and implementation.
- Craft compelling and creative content that effectively communicates key messages related to employee experience, people programmes, change management, mission, vision and values.
- Partner closely with our client stakeholders, which includes leadership, and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging and strategy.
- Evaluate and share performance data of internal people communications and apply any learning to continuously improve and inform strategy.
- Collaborates with our Marketing team and acts as a ‘brand guardian’, ensuring consistency and compliance in the development of all internal people communications branding and material.
- Work with the HRBPs to effectively and consistently present and communicate practice area people plans.
- Work closely with the Talent Acquisition team to deliver campaigns that enhance our employer reputation, brand and Employee Value Proposition.
- Curate learning content in support of employee engagement campaigns as part of our broader learning and development roadmap.
- Responsible for designing, creating and maintaining the People & Culture Hub pages.
- Collaborate with Marketing team and our People Networks and Champions to promote messages, events and insights internally (D&I, Wellbeing, Values etc.)
- Take the lead on designing, communicating and facilitating our People events e.g. Partner Conference, Recognition, Parties, People focused Events.
- Promote our core values and ensure they are threaded through out the employee journey and experience.
- Manage key supplier relationships and people comms and engagement budget.
