About the role
We’re looking for someone to head up our Human Resources and People function at Swap. The role will manage and support our team all over the world; including our central hubs in London, New York, Amsterdam & Israel.
To cultivate a more positive company culture, we love you to work at our lovely London office on a hybrid basis.
About You
- Bachelor level degree in related field, with experience in leading a global benefits and wellbeing strategy
- You have a comprehensive and thorough knowledge of benefits policies, trends, laws, regulations and system tools and technologies in the US and UK
- Knowledge of multiple countries, specifically the UK and US is a plus
- You have extensive experience with global benefits administration
- You have strong familiarity with HRIS technology
- You’re able to see broad strategic HR issues and apply rewards/recommend alternative solutions
- You have strong collaboration skills in a complicated environment with multiple stakeholders
- You’re skilled at building cross functional relationships with global partners
- You’re able to operate at a strategic and technical level
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in strategic planning at the executive level, aligning people strategies with business objectives.
- Lead the culture at Swap
- Maintain positive employee relations, resolve conflicts, and ensure a healthy work environment.
- Foster a positive organisational culture that promotes employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Full employee life cycle including:
- Onboarding and offboarding
- Oversee the recruitment process to ensure the organisation attracts, hires, and retains top talent
- Implement programs for professional development, leadership training, and career progression to enhance employee skills and engagement.
- Design and manage performance review processes to ensure alignment with organisational goals, providing feedback, and addressing performance issues.
- Develop competitive compensation and benefit plans to attract and retain employees, including salary structures, bonuses, health insurance, and retirement plans.
- Promote a diverse and inclusive workplace where all employees feel valued and can thrive.
- Align the organisation’s structure, culture, and workforce with its strategic objectives.
- Ensure the organisation complies with all local and country employment laws and regulations.
- Develop, implement and revise HR policies and procedures to meet the organisation’s needs and comply with legal standards.
- Use data and analytics to make informed decisions about workforce management, planning, and optimization.
