Are you an experienced Head of People looking for a challenging opportunity with a vibrant team to lead, undertake new projects and improve processes and procedures? Do you have a strong Employee Relations background? Great, let’s talk some more…….
Our Role as Head of People you will be responsible for leading the People team, for c.1000 employees to ensure processes and best practices are adhered to whilst encouraging engagement and limiting employment risks.
You will work with the Director of People to execute the business strategy and define and implement an effective people strategy to promote a high-performance culture that supports the business’s needs.

Lead, coach, develop and motivate the People team including People Services, Payroll and Advisory
Ensure team SLAs are achieved
Maintain and enhance processes designed to ensure all legal, regulatory and internal or external audit requirements are met or exceeded and ensure they are carried out to the highest level and are accurate and fit for purpose.
Monitor non-compliance with approved processes and escalate persistent concerns
Manage the accurate delivery of the monthly payroll
Provide a commercially focused, proactive case management service to Line Managers
Act as point of escalation and SME for employee relations issues, directly managing all contentious issues
Implement process enhancements to standardise and control all People data and records
Deliver an exceptional employee experience, especially in relation to new hires
Maintain and develop commercially relevant and legally compliant People policies and processes

BRING YOUR EXPERIENCE

Great stakeholder management
Strong demonstrable experience of enhancing team dynamics and motivation
Development of clear, well-structured policies and process documents
Effective evidence-based management using a ticketing system
Demonstrable track record of identifying and embedding process improvements
Prior payroll management experience
CIPD level 7 or equivalent experience
