Description:

PROFILE

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is required. A Master’s degree, MBA, or professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA, CIMA) would be an advantage.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in financial controlling, performance management, or a similar role within a large, complex, and multinational organization. Experience in industrial or manufacturing sectors is preferred.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing teams, with a focus on developing talent and driving performance. Strong leadership abilities to guide and motivate a team towards achieving strategic goals.
  • Excellent business acumen with the ability to act as a strategic partner to senior management and various business divisions. Strong relationship-building skills.
  • Expertise in financial controlling, cost control, commercial controlling, and cash management. Solid knowledge of financial reporting standards, forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis techniques
  • Strong analytical abilities with a forward-looking approach to financial controlling. Proven experience in identifying risks, proposing solutions, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner. Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond to ad-hoc requests efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the controlling team to facilitate the responsibility of Financial controlling, Cost controlling, Commercial controlling, cash and performance management for the Segment.
  • Act as a strong Business Partner for the AMDS Management Committee as well as CFOs of the 10 Business Divisions.
  • Deliver an effective performance management framework to the Business Divisions Performance Management teams.
  • Challenge and support business decision around key business drivers of AMDS and provide Management support in decision making.
  • Frame and oversee all aspects of the finance & accounting functions of the AMDS Segment.
  • Work closely with senior management and executives and develop strong relationships with the various stakeholders of AMDS through business partnering with management, other Segment and Group departments as well as other segments.
  • Ensure controlling and performance management activities to support segment management to reach AMDS short-term and long-term visions.
  • Active participation and strong reactivity for all ad-hoc requests from Segment CEO and CFO.
  • Encourage effective leadership and personnel development of all the staff members (team of 4 people).
  • Play a lead role in Capex allocation in coordination with the Chief Technical Officer of the Segment, and liaise to corporate Strategy team.
  • Develop, communicate and implement control systems to increase productivity, policies and practices to ensure financial reporting and all financial and accounting transactions comply with company practices and professional standards.
  • Identify / Alert on risk areas and recommend/take measures to implement corrective actions and maintain safeguards.
  • Keep developing forward looking Controlling through improvement of forecasting reliability and refine modeling.
  • Contribute to asset management through optimization plans and follow up.
  • To support Corporate Performance Management team by ensuring quality inputs and timely submission in all reporting process.
  • To work on the project of predictive analysis to see the possibility if can be used in AMDS environment and keep the lead in Power BI project applied to segment reporting, enabling further automation / reporting factory.
  • Increase commercial controlling aspects (Price follow up, revenue management, etc).
  • Follow-up on JV performance vis a vis our Business performance.
